1. See The Spectacular Los Gigantes Cliffs
The Los Gigantes Cliffs are one of the main attractions in all of Tenerife. If you are staying in Los Gigantes, you truly cannot miss them. The stunning cliffs tower 800 feet above the sea and offer unforgettable views.
To get a better view of the cliff you can do the Los Gigantes Cliff Walk. Just be careful because the trail is pretty rough and I would also not go if it is raining!
2. Go Whale Watching
Tenerife is a natural wonder surrounded by deep blue waters that are home to dolphins, whales, sea turtles and more. The water around Tenerife is particularly deep - that is why we see these animals so close to the shore.
Whale watching (specifically in the Los Gigantes area) is incredible because of the views of the cliffs from the water. The best way (and only way) to do this experience is by booking a tour.

3. Swim in the Natural Pools
I think that natural pools are like the coolest things ever. Like it's the ocean in a pool, who wouldn't love that (and you don't have to worry about sharks). Los Gigantes has an amazing natural pool, Piscina Natural Acantilado. Piscina Natural Acantilado is like a natural infinity pool made of rocks and overlooking the ocean.
As much as this place is amazing, be careful here! The tides can sweep you out to sea.
4. Relax on Playa de Los Gigantes
Playa de Los Gigantes is one of those beaches that just stays in your mind. The cliffs down the coast, blue water, the unique black sand, and the nearby hikes make Playa de Los Gigantes a perfect beach for fellow adventurers. Also this stunning beach feels remote, but it is right by the downtown area and all of the hotels, so no need to worry about food or other provisions.
5. Hike Punta de Teno
Punta de Teno is must do hike in Tenerife. Just north of Los Gigantes, Punta de Teno is a captivating hike with plenty of incredible viewpoints along the way.
The Punta de Teno trailhead is called Buenavista del Norte and the hike take around 2.5 hours to complete. At the end of Punta de Teno you will find breathtaking views of the Los Gigantes Cliffs and the iconic Peno de Teno Lighthouse.
