15 Best Hotels in Brooklyn, NYC (2025 Guide)
1. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – Luxury with Skyline Views
1 Hotel is our pick for a luxury hotel in Brooklyn. The thing that jumps out to me that most about 1 Hotel is the incredible views of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan and DUMBO. You can find one of the best views in NYC from 1 Hotel.
The decor of 1 Hotel is unique to New York City. I found that it was like southern California in New York - boho luxury with plants, wood features, and stone fixtures used throughout the property.
The Hoxton is a four star hotel located in the trendy Williamsburg neighborhood. I found that the Hoxton is a cheaper alternative to 1 Hotel - it kind of has a similar vibe, but more affordable.
What I love about the Hoxton is the design of it! It definitely does have that boho vibe (like 1 Hotel), but a bit more Brooklyn with exposed brick walls and retro features.
The Pod Brooklyn is your best choice if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in a good location in Brooklyn. The three star hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable stay in Brooklyn.
I stayed in a pod hotel in Manhattan once and thought everything was clean and comfortable. I mean the rooms are very small, but it's actually really good for the price. If you are looking for a budget hotel in Brooklyn, Pod is your best bet.
Best For - Couples & Solo Travelers
Unique Feature - Rooftop terrace with outdoor seating
The William Vale is a five star luxury hotel located in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. This hotel is sleek and modern, but what really caught my attention at the William Vale was the health and wellness services. You will find a twenty four hour gym, sauna, spa, and restaurant at the this hotel.
The William Vale is the perfect hotel for health and wellness gurus traveling to Brooklyn!
Hotel Indigo has spacious rooms! Unlike literally any other New York City hotel, you can actually walk around a bit in your room at Hotel Indigo. Located in Williamsburg, Hotel Indigo is the perfect hotel for the younger crowd.
What I loved most about this hotel was the spacious rooms, but also the outdoor gardens and pool - it was like a little oasis in the mists of the city.
Ace Brooklyn is located in the stunning Boerum Hill Neighborhood of Brooklyn. All I could think of during my time at the Ace is how much the hotel fully embodies Brooklyn. With its use of concrete, art piece throughout the property, casual retro feel, and eclectic furnishing remind you of Brooklyns grit.
Situated in the Greenpoint Neighborhood (just north of Williamsburg), The Box House Hotel is quirky and spacious. Honestly, for what you get this place is pretty affordable too!
The Box House Hotel is great for longer stays in Brooklyn and has a homey feel. It is also in a quieter area of Brooklyn, so if you are like me and are not a fan of crowds this hotel may be for you!
Best For - Families
Unique Feature - Suits for long term stays and families
Moxy, located in Williamsburg is the perfect hotel if you are looking for affordable luxury. With, kind of a younger vibe, Moxy is beautifully appointed throughout.
What stood out to me the most at Moxy was the restaurant, bars, reading rooms, lobby, rooftop, and lounges. The commitment to making each one of the rooms unique and different in design was so refreshing. It was actually so fun just walking around Moxy!
The Tillary Hotel is a lovely option if you are looking for a budget stay in DUMBO. This modern hotel is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It is a bit more pricey than the Pod Hotel, but totally worth it.
What I loved most about the Tillary is the location and views of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
10. Hilton Brooklyn New York – Classic Comfort in Downtown Brooklyn
💵Middle Range Brooklyn Hotel
While the Hilton isn't as exciting as some of the other hotels on this list, it serves it purpose. The Hilton is located in downtown Brooklyn and is a bit corporate, but is in a great location, is clean, and is reliable.
The Arlo in Williamsburg is a four star boutique hotel that is both chic and has tons of Brooklyn character. This charming hotel is definitely one of the most instagrammable hotels in Brooklyn with its bold color choices and rooftop views.
What stood out to me the most at Arlo was the seasonal rooftop pool and incredible views from each and every window in the place!
Located in the residential Boerum Hill Neighborhood, The Industrialist Hotel is perfect if you are looking for a long term stay in Brooklyn. The hotel (by Sonder) is a self service hotel making for a bit more of an independent feel.
What I loved most about The Industrialist Hotel was the location, modern & sleek design, and self service aspect.
Located in the trendy Williamsburg neighborhood, CODA is another amazing boutique hotel perfect for anyone visiting Brooklyn. CODA is a rather small hotel with a cool design and boho vibes.
The best part of the hotel is definitely the rooftop pool. You seriously will feel like you are in the south of France with the striped shay lounges and wait service bringing you pina coladas.
The Franklin Guesthouse is similar to the Box House Hotel as that it is in Greenpoint (a residential area) and is great for long term stays. It is a tad bit nicer and more expensive though.
What I loved about the Franklin Guesthouse is that it is a small hotel and off the beaten path, you will feel like a local. The rooms are also super spacious and are perfect for digital nomads.
I know, another Williamsburg Hotel, but I swear the hotels are just better over there and it is such a cool neighborhood. The Penny Williamsburg is the perfect budget hotel as it doesn't feel like a budget hotel.
The Penny is a boutique hotel and is super trendy. - the design is unique and imaginative. You will also find an amazing restaurant at The Penny.
