What To Bring To Florence In Summer - Summer in Florence is very hot. Bring linens, shorts, tshirts, tank tops, hats, sunscreen, and comfy sneakers.

What To Bring To Florence In Fall - Fall in Tuscany is perfect weather wise. It is warm, but still gets a bit chilly (especially at night). So bring jeans, tshirts, linens, shorts, sweaters, and layers.

What To Bring To Florence In Winter - Winter in Florence can be pretty cold (50s F). So bring jeans, sweaters, layers, a light jacket, and boots.

What To Bring To Florence In Spring - Spring is a beautiful time of year to visit Florence (60s F). It is the rainy season - the the temperatures are similar to the fall months so just don't for get a rain jacket.

Adaptors - There is nothing worse that getting to your hotel after a long travel day with a dead phone and realizing you don't have the right adaptor. Italy uses Type C + F.

Scarf - In churches it is custom to have a modesty scarf to cover up shoulders and knees.

Comfy Sneakers - Truly a need on any trip to Europe. Florence is the type of city you walk around in all day long - so make sure you bring comfy sneakers.

It's similar to the USA - for nicer restaurants dress nice. If the place is casual - dress casual.

Can I wear flip-flops in Florence?

Sure - but I don't recommend, especially if you are planning on doing a lot of walking.
