What To Avoid In Delray Beach

First is The Girls Strawberry You Pick. The Girls Strawberry You Pick is not a strawberry patch that you can go pick your own strawberries (this is what I thought it was). It is honestly a little creepy. It is located in a shady strip mall and the inside is dim and dirty. The outside had a bunch of birds caged up and rides for kids. Although this may be fun for kids it was not very clean and it will give you the creeps.

Next, Avoid Hawkers Asian restaurant. The portions are tiny, the food is overpriced, and the atmosphere is very loud.

When To Go To Delray Beach

South Florida gets extremely hot and humid in the summers so avoid the summers in Delray. The summer and fall is hurricane season in Florida and that can be inconvenient to travel plans with frequent cancellations due to weather. The best time to visit Delray is in the winter and spring. Winters can sometimes be too cold for the beach (50s - 70s F), but still great for everything else. The best months in Florida are March, April, and May because of the perfect weather and there is typically no seaweed in the ocean.
