Located in the northernmost part of Bermuda (by the airport) is the stunning village of St. Georges. St. Georges was once the capital of Bermuda. With picturesque buildings, historic sights, amazing hotels, and lovely shopping, this parish is a great place to base yourself on a trip to Bermuda.

The St. Regis Bermuda Resort - The St. Regis is one of the best luxury resorts in Bermuda. At this top notch hotel you will be met with a spa, gym, restaurant, bar, pool, pet friendly rooms, beach access, and more!

St George's Club Bermuda - The St. George's Club reminds me much of a country club. With tennis courts, condo like rooms, and a pool, the St. George's Club is best for an older couple or for longer stays.

2. Paget

Paget Parish is a lovely place to base yourself in Bermuda because of the easy access to Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda, amazing nearby beaches, and just over all green spaces and nature.

5. Hamilton

Not to be confused with the capital of Bermuda, Hamilton Parish is located in the northern part of the island, near St. Georges. Hamiltons Parish is home to some of the best attractions in Bermuda - The Crystal Caves, The Swizzle Inn, the head of the Railway Trail, and the adorable Flatts Village. Hamiltons Parish is a lovely place to base yourself if you are hoping to stay close to the airport and lovely attractions.

Sandys Parish really come alive during the summer months as it is tourist season. Dockyard is were all of the cruise ships dock, so you will find shops and restaurants that cater to tourist in Dockyard. I traveled to Bermuda in the winter, so Dockyard was empty with only a few businesses open.

Situated between Smiths and Paget Parish, Devonshire is perfect for anyone in Bermuda for golf. Devonshire is home to the fabulous Ocean View Golf Course. Honestly other than the golfing, there isn't much to do in Devonshire. So if you are hoping to spend your days in Bermuda on a golf course, then Devonshire may be the best area for you.
