Some airlines that fly to Charleston International Airport include Air Canada, Jetblue, Delta, United, Allegiant, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Breeze, Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, Sun Country Airlines, and more.
The easiest way to get from the Charleston International Airport to the city center is by Uber, Taxi, or Lyft. Once you get into the city you wont need to pay for more transportation because Charleston is super walkable and small.

Take a stroll down the Instagram famous Rainbow Row. If you are looking for the perfect spot to take photos or just to go on the pleasant stroll, Rainbow Row is a great option. It is also away from the hustle and bustle of King Street so it's a great area to relax a bit.
Rainbow Row is a must see in Charleston. You cannot miss it!
Pineapple Fountain
Walk along the water to find Charleston's unique Pineapple Fountain.
The Pineapple Fountain is famous in Charleston and it is so close to King Street. It cannot be missed.
While at the pineapple fountain be sure to check out the harbor right next to it! I did Charleston Harbor History Day-Time or Sunset Boat Cruise and it was so fun. This one is usually booked up so you could try Charleston Marsh Eco Boat Cruise with stop at Morris Island Lighthouse as well. Both got five star reviews!

Charleston is one of the most historic places in the United States.
Charleston played a huge part in slavery. You can learn all about it at the Old Slave Mart Museum.
Go To The Beach
Charleston is home to some of the best surfing! So if you love surfing you have to go to the beach.

Take The Train To Savannah

The train is a perfect way to get from Charleston to Savannah or Savannah to Charleston.
It is only a 1 hour train ride! The Amtrak train is very affordable too. Last December I paid $20 for a one - way ticket!
I would not rent a car because both Savannah and Charleston are very walkable and it would end up being a waste of money.

I am usually very hesitant to do bus tours but this one in Savannah is so worth it!
This Hop On Hop Off Bus will save you so much money it's insane. I only had one day in Savannah an I got to see everything I wanted to see in such a short period of time. The bus drivers will also tell you all about Savannah during your ride!

Visit an Old Savannah Mansion
Savannah has some of the oldest and most historical mansions in the country.
I visited the Andrew Low house it was super interesting and it was gorgeous. You should definitely add this to your Savannah and Charleston Itinerary.
Victorian District

While in Savannah you should stop by the Victorian District.
The Victorian District is so pretty. It is full of small parks with a gorgeous weeping willow trees. I did the Private Tour of Savannah's Historic/Victorian Districts & Bonaventure Cemetery and it was super fun and I learned so much!

When To Visit Savannah and Charleston
The prices of flights and hotels pretty much stay the same all year in Charleston and Savannah. I would say that the best time weather wise would be September - November.
The summer in Charleston and Savannah are so hot so I would avoid the summer months.
If you want the perfect Charleston aesthetic and Savannah aesthetic visit in late September!
Charleston and Savannah are also really fun during the holidays as both of the cities are decked out in holiday decorations.
How Long Should I Stay In Savannah & Charleston?
You should spend at least 2 days in Charleston! There is so much to do in Charleston you could easily be entertained for a week here.
There is a bit less to do in Savannah so I wouldn't stay more than 3 days or you may end up getting a little bored.
