Cape Cod Packing List - To Dress Like a Local

The Cape is truly a magical place during the summer time. I have written guides to almost every town on Cape Cod, so now I think it is time to mix things up with a packing guide. The Cape is home to both glamor and a laid back beachy vibe, so packing is an interesting task. Do I want a ritzy east coast aesthetic? Do I want a casual vibe all day everyday? Hats

Us New Englanders always seem to be wearing hats. Weather that is a baseball cap with our favorite team or a dramatic floppy hat to show our disdain for the sun (most New Englanders have pale irish skin that burns easy). Anyway, a hat is a must on a trip to the Cape.

Swimsuit

If you are visiting the Cape in the summer, a swim suit is a must. I love this one, its has that preppy Cape Cod vibe!

Cover Up

Many people stay in there suits all day when on the Cape, so a beach cover up is definitely worth investing in! This one is lovely, but if you are looking for a more affordable option, checkout this one.

Flowy Pants

Flowy pants are one of my favorite clothing items, and they are certainly popular on Cape Cod. These ones are stylish and comfy!

Sweater

Cape Cod gets chilly at night, so you will need a sweater to keep you warm while roasting marshmallows! This one is my favorite.
