This guide to Siesta Key would not be complete without all of the best beaches to go to! Florida's west coast is known for having some of the best beaches in the United States.

The most popular beach on Siesta Key is Siesta Beach, located by shops and restaurants, Siesta Beach is stunning and convenient. Another lovely beach to checkout is Turtle Beach. Turtle Beach is a bit less crowded than the nearby Siesta Beach, but equally as beautiful. You could also checkout Crescent Beach if you are looking for somewhere to go that is more off the beaten path in Siesta Key.

Siesta Key Village

Siesta Key Village is where to go for everything shopping and dining. Full of cute boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and gift shops, Siesta Key Village can keep you entertained for hours. Located right by Siesta Beach, Siesta Key Village is conveniently located if you are in need of anything during your beach day.

Some of my favorite shops in Siesta Key Village are Casa Del Sol Boutique and The Lobster Pot!

St. Armands Circle

Just north of Siesta Key is another lovely shopping and dining spot called St. Armands Circle. You can find all sorts of popular and boutique shops in the tropical outdoor shopping mall. Some of my favorites include Apricot Lane Boutique and Tommy Bahama.

Sunset Point

Florida's west coast gets some of the best sunsets in the country. Sunset Point in Siesta Key is a spectacular place to enjoy a sunset. You can also checkout the Siesta drum circle every Sunday evening an hour before sunset. Check the schedule here.

Snorkel at The Point Of Rocks

Located on the southern end of Crescent Beach you will find the amazing snorkeling area The Point Of Rocks. Perfect for all levels, The Point Of Rocks is a lovely place to spend the afternoon in the sea. Be sure to bring snorkel equipment and in the winter, a wet suit.

🍴Captain Curt's - Captain Curt's is your one stop shop for everything evening. You will find delicious dinner and lunch food, drinks, and live music all at Captain Curt's!

🍴Island House - The Island House is a top notch seafood restaurant and bar located in the northern tip of Siesta Key.

🍴The Lobster Pot - Located in Siesta Key Village, The Lobster Pot serves delicious New England style lobster. Not only is the food at the Lobster Pot great, the restaurant itself is so cute, you can't miss the sign out front.

Getting To Siesta Key

There are a few different airport you can fly into to get to Siesta Key. The closest airport is Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. Although you will have a better chance of getting a cheaper flight if you fly into Tampa International Airport or Orlando International Airport.

The best way to get around Siesta Key is by walking, renting a car, or uber.

Best Time To Visit Siesta Key

The best time to visit Siesta Key is winter and springtime! My favorite month in Florida is March because of the perfect temperatures, seaweed free beaches, and the flowers are in full bloom.

Try to avoid the summer months in Siesta Key because of the splintering heat and intense humanity. Fall and summer is hurricane season, so you may experience heavy rain during this part of the year.
