Ireland's Cliffs Of Moher are on almost every travelers bucket list. These jaw dropping cliffs are located on Irelands west coast (about 1 hour south of Galway & 3 hours west of Dublin). The cliffs are a great day trip to take from Galway or even Dublin if you are on a tight schedule. The best way to see the cliffs are by tour or by driving if you plan on renting a car. I opted for a tour from Galway and loved it!

    Did you drive while in Ireland? I want to go, but I'm a bit terrified of driving on the left. 😄

    Also, do you have any recommendations for smaller (or at least less congested) walkable cities that still have plenty of pubs and restaurants, some museums and performing arts, but are still not too far from rural/scenic locales?

      Absolutely - Kilkenny, Ennis, Kinsale, and Westport are great choices for what you are talking about. My all-time favorite place in Ireland has to Be Galway though!
